Dr. Amanda Reichert received her undergraduate education from Georgia Southwestern University; a Master’s in Health Care Administration from Mercer University, a Master’s in Nursing Education from University of North Georgia, and her Ph.D. in Nursing Education from Mercer University. Dr. Reichert’s experience includes labor and delivery, ICU, general medical/surgical nursing, infection control, clinical education, rural health, nursing administration, and nursing education. The focus of her current research is on leadership development from within the ranks of nursing. Dr. Reichert was named a Jonas Scholar by the Jonas Center for Nursing and Veterans’ Healthcare and completed a leadership intensive in academic leadership. Currently, Dr. Reichert is an Assistant Professor and serves as the Coordinator of Nursing Education and Leadership Programming at the University of North Georgia.
