Overview

Dr. Dumphy is an Associate Professor of Nursing in the College of Health Science and Professions. She has also maintained Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner clinical practice in pediatrics, hospice, geriatrics, primary care, home health and adult chronic disease management; her most desired population to serve being the indigent and underserved. In addition, she has authored several publications, completed and received awards for national and international podium and poster presentations, and serves as a peer-reviewer for evidence-based practice journals. Her research interests include implementation science in primary care and graduate nursing education. Dr. Dumphy served in the Massachusetts and South Carolina Army National Guard.
