Meant as a refresher of the online pre-orientation modules, this session will review the core curriculum, nighthawk registration, and internal transfer process.

Meet with an academic advisor in your major to learn more about major-specific requirements and post-graduate opportunities.

Course Registration
Register for your classes for the spring and summer semesters. Orientation Leaders, Faculty, and Staff are available to assist with the class registration process.

Campus Tours and Check-out
Re-join your parents and family members and complete the check-out process. Take the opportunity to get a campus tour.  Orientation and Transition Program staff will also be staffing a Q & A table for any final questions before you leave campus. (This begins at 3:45 but students can complete check out whenever they finish registering for classes.)

All cadets are required to attend this double-session breakout which will outline expectations of cadets and provide information to prepare students for the cadet experience.

In this workshop, Career Services will lead you through ways to prepare now for your career by helping you create a plan of action for each semester in order to take advantage of internships, job opportunities, resume building resources, and real-life career preparation.

Commuter Connections

Learn about how you can make the most of your commuter experience and connect to the UNG campus and community in a way that works for you. Get some tips about commuter student success!

Financial Aid

Join this session to learn more about navigating federal and state financial aid programs and details about Satisfactory Academic Progress. Come get your questions answered!

Online Course/Technology Overview

Everything you need to know prepare for taking a course through eCORE or UNG Online including how to register, how they are different from in-person classes. Also learn about the technology available to you as a UNG student!

Readmit/Returning Students

Find the answers here to questions most asked by students navigating the return to UNG to complete their degrees. This Q&A session will cover such topics as career planning, changing majors, online classes, juggling work and school, tutoring services, academic advising, continued eligibility for financial aid and more.
