A program for political science majors to receive a one to three-semester scholarship in return for working as an intern in the office of the District 9 representative to the GA State House.
During the internship you will receive credit for POLS 4485A - Internship in Political Science (three hours / semester).
If you are interested you must apply as soon as possible, as the internship will kick off by mid- October 2022.

The Basics of American Government is a collaborative effort among six current and three former faculty members in the Department of Political Science & International Affairs and the Department of Criminal Justice, and a student contributor, at the University of North Georgia.
Currently in use in most of our POLS 2401 “Global Issues” courses, The Basics of Global Politics provides an introduction to world politics for the beginner political science student. Authored by members of UNG’s Political Science & International Affairs department, the text discusses domestic and international politics and political ideologies, as well as, global trends, obstacles, and currently-developing identities in international relations.
