Overview
Dr. María-Gamboa completed her Ph.D at the University of Kentucky, where she specialized in 19th and 20th Century Peninsular Literature. Her research analyzes the existential implications of the fantastic narrative by Galician author Álvaro Cunqueiro (1911-1981). Her area of research also includes gender studies and pedagogy.
Dr. María-Gamboa graduated in Philosophy from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain, from where she also received a Master’s Degree in Advanced Studies in Philosophy and a Master’s Degree in Teaching Secondary Education.
