Terri Martin-Yates is a licensed professional counselor and a certified school counselor. She also holds a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in vocational rehabilitation. Terri is a certified trainer in applied cognitive neuroscience and is a state-approved trainer for Georgia’s early care and learning system. Terri has enjoyed a long and interesting career in psychology, counseling, and education, and truly has a passion for helping others!  She worked in clinical psychology for much of her career, performing psychological and developmental evaluations in private practice and psychiatric facilities and for over ten years, she shared her love for the social sciences as an academic tutor at a private college in Gainesville, Georgia.

Terri is an experienced public speaker and has presented at national, state and local conferences around the country. She has developed courses and facilitated numerous workshops that offer guidance and strategies for helping individuals with special needs, such as those with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, or other mental health concerns. Her approach to counseling is solution-focused, incorporating cognitive-behavioral strategies with brain-inspired interventions.
