Student Health Services Operations

Students may use the Student Health Centers in Dahlonega or Gainesville, rather than an urgent care, primary care, or emergency facility, but they should schedule an appointment ahead of time.

Students should contact Student Health Services by email or phone before going to the Health Center, particularly if they have potential COVID-19 symptoms.

COVID-19 Testing

The clinics are staffed by a physician assistant, nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, as well as a physician who is available by appointment.

Student health fees collected each semester cover services provided in the health clinic with the exception of specific immunizations, laboratory tests sent to a reference lab, and medications provided in the Women's & Men's Health Clinics.
