As the associate dean for the College of Education, Dr. Hardee is responsible for the maintenance, collection, development, and analysis of data for program improvement and accreditation purposes for Teacher Education and Kinesiology. This includes collection of propriety assessments but also the development of new surveys and assessments. She handles state and federal reporting mechanisms to the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, Title II Federal Reporting, the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, SACSCOC, and the Commission on the Accreditation of Athletic Training Education, along with the program coordinators. She is the College Curriculum Coordinator, which includes holding regular meetings with faculty in individual program areas on curriculum and assessment development and facilitation of new program development, including certificates and degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels. And she provides special programs support for grants, the Center for Language Education, and the Appalachian Studies Center, and faculty professional development support and facilitation. She supervises college-developed committees and the College and Departmental Tenure and Promotion Committees, including faculty assignments, committee charges, and general record keeping. Her role also include supervision of Field Experiences, Engagement and Partnerships, and Recruitment and Diversity Initiatives for the College of Education, which has included the development of a new partnership with Hall County to increase the number of native-Spanish-speaking educators, the creation of a five-year recruitment plan, and the development of a five-year diversity plan.
