Master of Science with a Major in Kinesiology

The University of North Georgia (UNG) offers a fully online Master of Science with a major in Kinesiology which provides an advanced degree opportunity for physical educators (and related fields) who hold a teaching certificate in physical education or have a degree in exercise science and non-certification physical education.  The MSPE program offers your choice of content areas either exercise science or health and physical education, based on your individual needs.

Admissions Information

Admission is through UNG Graduate Admissions. Top graduate faculty from UNG teach the courses. This 10-course program can be completed in five consecutive semesters. Two courses are taken per semester with the last semester including the last core course and the capstone.  All course-work, including exams, is done online. No campus visits are required to complete the program.

Students have access to online academic resources such as those available through UNG's Library Technology Center. Courses are asynchronous, so there are no scheduled online class meetings except those you might make with peers for group work.


Students must have high speed internet access.  Courses are delivered via Desire to Learn course management system.
