The University of North Georgia’s Theater program offers a Bachelors (B.F.A.) degree in Design and Technology for Theatre, consisting of a one hundred twenty (120) semester hour sequence designed to meet the educational employment requirements of workers in theatrical design and the entertainment technology industry. The natural extension of the Entertainment Technology Certificate program (developed in 2006) and UNG’s well established Associate of Arts degree in theatre, the Design and Technology BFA degree program focuses on application as well as theory, with a firm scholarly foundation and an intensive hands-on approach to learning.
