Cadet Information
In addition to the guidance for non-cadet, residential students, cadets must also adhere to the following safety procedures:
- Physical distancing protocols will remain in place during drills, and drills that require physical contact will be replaced with demonstrations or multimedia demonstrations.
- Lab location/areas will be assigned by the Military Science Department for each company with enough space to break down and train in a platoon formation adhering to social distancing protocol.
- Run routes will be clearly marked and enforced. Runners will be released at five-second intervals to maintain distancing or can run in an extended squad-sized file formation.
- Military science classes will move to a blended format with a rotating schedule for in-person and online course work.
- Cadets and cadre will wear face coverings to all formations, and can only be removed during PT. PPE consisting of three washable, cloth face coverings, black in color, will be provided for each cadet.
- Medics in the Corps of Cadets will complete temperature checks and/or a medical questionnaire for each cadet at morning PT class.
- Required room checks also will include regular health and welfare inspections to ensure that cadets are aware of and are following health, safety and sanitation recommendations.
