Adult Learners

Do you have questions about returning to school?

Non-traditional Student

You graduated from high school five or more years ago, hold a high school diploma, earned qualifying scores on the GED, HiSET, or TASC, and have earned less than 30 transferable semester hours of college credit.


Transfer Student

  • you have graduated from high school or earned qualifying scores on the GED, HiSET or TASC, and have taken a college course after high school that transfers to UNG
  • you have not already earned a bachelor's degree OR you are pursuing a second bachelor's degree.


Former Returning UNG Student

You attended UNG in the past, and you have been away for three or more consecutive semesters (including summer)."
