What is an UNG Card?

Your UNG Card is your ID for the university and so much more!  It allows you to:

  • Gain access into your residence hall
  • Check books out at the Library
  • Access your meal plan
  • Access the Campus Recreation Center
  • Purchase goods and services at campus retail outlets and campus vending machines
  • Purchase goods and services at select off campus merchants
  • Purchase goods and services at the bookstore
  • Access your UNG refunds

How can I check my Campus Cash account balance?
  • Go by your UNG Card Services location
  • Check online Campus Cash

Due to federal regulations, we can only give account information to the cardholder in person. No balances or information can be given out over the phone.

Can I get cash from my UNG Card?
  • Discover (Metallic stripe)
    Yes, any balance that you have in your Discover account can be used at all ATMs. Please see MoneyNetwork Fee Schedule for ATM fees or Money Network for more information.
  • Campus Cash (Black Stripe)
    No, money in your UNG Campus Cash account can only be spent for the goods and services that are provided by the vendors that accept your UNG Card.
What about Campus Cash refunds and withdrawals?
  • If you are a student, you must have withdrawn or graduated to be eligible for a refund if you have $10.00 or more in your account.
  • Campus Cash does not expire. You may request a full refund once you graduate or withdraw from the university.
  • Meal Plans and Dining Dollars expire at the end of each semester. (See Terms and Conditions more details.)
  • Meal Plans sold at UNG Card Services in Dahlonega cannot be changed.  However, if you have the All Access, The Social Lite or The Master Mix plan you may change those through the Business Office, located on the second floor of the Downtown Office Building, during the week of drop/add.
Lost and stolen cards
  • STEP 1: Deactivate your card online, login using your network user name and password, select the Card Services tab at the top of the page. Then select deactivate card. You may contact your UNG Card Services during normal business hours for replacement cards or re-activate if found.

    STEP 2: Call 1-800-822-4283 and report your card lost/stolen if you have activated the Money Network Discover account on your card or visit Card Services on your campus immediately to get your card replaced. When calling the 1-800 number, if the card is not present, choose option 2 after selecting the language preference; then press the “*” key to be transferred to a representative.

    Replacement card fee is $25.00.

    Once a new card is issued, prior cards cannot be re-activated.

    Replacing a damaged card:

    No charge will be imposed for the replacement of a card that ceases to function through normal, daily usage. Characteristics not indicating normal usage are broken edges or corners, non-authorized hole punches, and vertical breakage/cracking.

    A charge will be imposed for the replacement of a Card not indicating normal usage.
