Get the UNG Mobile App!

The official University of North Georgia app enables prospective and current students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to connect to UNG anywhere, anytime.

UNG Mobile provides convenient access to UNG campus maps, news, events, directories, athletics, course listings, shuttle and parking updates, and more.

Prospective students can find information on UNG degrees and programs, visiting a campus, financial aid, Corps of Cadets and more.

Are there different views in the app?

Yes, you can customize your app experience. When you open the app after your initial installation, you will be prompted to choose an app experience.  Available options are Guest, Students and Faculty & Staff.

To change your app experience, tap the 'hamburger' menu icon in the top, right corner. The first option is 'Change Your App Experience'.

How can I start/stop push notifications?

  1. Tap the hamburger menu in the top, right corner of the app.
  2. Tap 'App Settings'.
  3. Select 'Push Notification Settings".
  4. To receive notifications for only your currently selected persona, select  "My current location/personas".
  5. To receive notifications for the same persona(s) all the time, select "Selected locations/personas" and choose those personas for which you want to receive notifications.

How do push notifications work?

Push notifications let our app send you new messages or events even when you are not actively using the app.

You can subscribe or unsubscribe to push notifications by app experience area in the settings for the app.

What are opt-in channels?

Opt-in channels are a feature of the UNG Mobile app that allows UNG departments or units to send targeted messages. Messages are then delivered to anyone that has opted-in to the channel. Find out more about Opt-in channels.

How can I opt-in to channels that interest me?

Open the UNG Mobile App tap on the silhouette, tap messages, choose the opt-in tab and select the channels that interest you. More detailed instructions on opting-in to channels.
