Tiffany Joy Ignalaga (Prater) helps oversee the graphic design program at the University of North Georgia. Originally from Bahrain, she pursued her BFA from Eastern Illinois University, and her MFA from Indiana University. She relocated from Bloomington, Indiana and currently teaches both graphic design and computer graphics courses, including photography, animation and illustration. She has worked for both in-house design and freelance – her design experience includes book cover designs, branding and packaging, marketing collateral and advertisements, annual reports, invitations and announcements, environmental and way-finding signage, hand-lettering, letterpress and silkscreen printing. Through her work, she developed a passion for “good design”- designing for non-profit organizations and cause-related marketing.
