Public Safety (UNG Police Department) maintains a secure and civil campus to ensure an optimal environment for our community to visit, learn and grow. All public safety officers are official police fully certified through the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council.

LiveSafe gives students, faculty and staff a greater control of their personal safety while on campus.

With the LiveSafe app installed on your smartphone you can:

  • Send photos or video to campus safety personnel
  • Share your GPS with a police dispatcher
  • Review safety resources including directories, guides, and callbox maps.

To get the app:

  1. Download and install "LiveSafe" [Publisher: LiveSafe, Inc., a subsidiary of Vector Solutions] from your phone's app store
  2. Register your phone number or email [inside the app]
  3. Search and Select the organization and community "University of North Georgia"
