Cadet Admissions

SAT/ACT Scores No Longer Required for 2021 Admission

First-year students applying to University of North Georgia for the spring, summer and fall 2021 semesters can be admitted without ACT or SAT scores if they have a sufficiently high GPA. 

Bachelor's degree new freshmen applicants must meet one of the following admissions criteria:

  • 2.8+ unweighted high school GPA in the required high school curriculum
  • 2.4+ unweighted high school GPA in the required high school curriculum and SAT scores that meet a 480 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and a 440 Math or ACT scores that meet a 17 English or Reading and a 17 Math. Students must also meet a 2400+ freshman index (FI).

Cadet Admissions Operations Update

Staff members have returned to campus. Campus tours can be scheduled as individual family appointments and will be conducted in accordance with CDC guidelines. Remote meetings can also be facilitated for those not wishing to visit campus at this time.

Cadet Admissions will amend the following events in accordance with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's guidance related to large events and the evolving COVID-19 situation:
