    • Project Global Officer (GO) Scholarship

      If you are interested in learning Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Russian during the summer semester before you start in the fall, there are Project Global Officer (GO) scholarships available. 

      Please see the UNG Project GO website for more details and apply through the Summer Language Institute.

    • Georgia ROTC and Future Officer Grant

      (for Georgia residents only)

      The state of Georgia awards a grant for up to $750 at the end of each semester to Georgia residents who participate fully in the Corps of Cadets. Those Cadets who sign agreements to commission as Army officers receive up to $2000 per semester.

      There is no need to apply for the grant prior to enrolling at the University of North Georgia. You will be given instructions on how to apply by the Commandant of Cadets after you arrive.

    • Green to Gold Scholarship

      (for regular Army enlisted soldiers only)

      The Army offers excellent opportunities for enlisted Soldiers to become officers while earning a degree at the same time. You can choose between a two year option where you remain on active duty, or a three or four year option where you can receive scholarships and stipends.

      Check the Go Army Green to Gold website to determine your eligibility.

      What are some of my options?

      Two-year option - if you already have an associate or bachelors degree, or if you have 60 transferable semester hours of college complete.

      Three or four year option - if you have less that 60 hours of transferable credit

      Will my courses transfer?

      Follow the Green to Gold checklist in Appendix A of the Green to Gold Application.

    • Scholarship Deadlines

      We must have your completed application for admission and all supporting documents prior to the deadline.

      • Georgia Military Scholarship: February 15

    Leadership Scholarships for New Cadets

    Leadership scholarship applicants can send an email to mike.ivy@ung.edu. 

    Please ensure you have completed your FAFSA application. In the email, please state your interest to be considered for one of the leadership scholarships available to incoming cadets. Deadline is March 1.
