Accessibility at UNG

Welcome to the University of North Georgia's (UNG) source for accessibility information with a single point of access to pertinent guidance regarding resources across UNG.

Accessibility acknowledges the intersectional identities, experiences, and needs of our whole campus community, which is consistent with UNG's Vision, Mission, and Values.

It extends beyond the requirements for legally required accommodations for faculty, staff, and students. Everyone can bring their complete selves to campus and have the chance to flourish when there is accessibility.

Note: If there is concern about imminent danger or experiencing a critical issue, contact Public Safety or call 706-864-1500

Digital Accessibility

Creating and maintaining accessible technology that is perceivable, operable, and understandable for all is an ongoing UNG responsibility and priority.

In alignment with the University System of Georgia (USG) Board of Regents accessibility guidelines and Section 508 standards, our UNG prioritizes digital accessibility as a cornerstone of our communications. Our Accessible Digital and Electronic Technology Policy strives to make electronic and information technology resources accessible to all UNG students, faculty, staff, and the general public, regardless of disability.
