    Student Accessibility Services

    The University of North Georgia Student Accessibility Services (SAS) staff is committed to ensuring all students have equal access to a college education regardless of the presence or absence of a disability. The Student Accessibility Services department provides numerous accommodations, services, and resources for students with disabilities and temporary injuries or illnesses. Trust and advocacy are the hallmarks of this service and we ensure that confidentiality is maintained.

    Deadlines and Reminders

    Spring Semester Begins: January 10, 2022

    Add/Drop Period Ends: January 14, 2022 (Full Session Only)

    No Class: January 17, 2022

    Withdrawal Deadline: March 4, 2022 (Full Session Only)

    Holidays: March 14, 2022 - March 19, 2022

    Classes End: April 29, 2022 (Full Session Only)

    Finals Week: May 2, 2022 - May 6, 2022

    Students Must Register

    Students MUST register with Student Accessibility Services for access to accommodations and assistive technologies. Student Accessibility Services can not reach out to students who may need such accommodations. It is the responsibility of the student to register.

    Should I register with Student Accessibility Services?

    If an individual has a medical or mental health diagnosis that substantially limits a major life activity, such as academic performance or ability to participate in a university activity, then it is suggested that they consider registering for services. Feel free to contact our office if you have any questions or concerns about accommodations and accessibility.
