Appalachian Studies Center's Food Pantry
The UNG Food Pantry provides basic supplies and non-perishable food for members of the UNG community (students, faculty, and staff) in need of additional relief and assistance. While the Food Pantry is hosted by the university, it is funded by external donations and fundraising events. As such, the products offered are dependent on availability. To help us keep balance of our product variety, we ask guests to limit their selection to fulfill the needs of the upcoming week.
If the door to the pantry is locked, call or text one of the numbers posted on the door.

History
In 2016, the Appalachian Studies Center and a committee of UNG volunteers opened a food and supply pantry at the Historic Vickery House for students, staff and faculty. In 2024, the food pantry moved to Stewart Success Center to provide more centralized access to the UNG community. The UNG Food Pantry is not a university-funded service. We finance our services through financial and food donations as well as fundraising events.
