While you are a student, faculty or staff member at UNG there is no cost, but you will be required to complete an application and meet certain rules and regulations. For non-UNG members, there is a charge that varies depending on the level of participation. The costs are determined based on a menu of offerings.
Become a member of the Launch Pad and hang out or attend some of the events or workshops and/or join the StartupUNG entrepreneurship student organization.
Yes! A mentor program exists to help match the Launch Pad members and other entrepreneurs with professionals who have volunteered time for mentoring. These mentors are experienced, enthusiastic and experienced entrepreneurs, business executives and/or specialists.
Yes! The Launch Pad helps entrepreneurs find and recruited talented team members. Launch Pad events are another resource for building a dream team – check out the calendar of events on the Launch Pad overview page.
Startup events, pitch competitions, online funding sites, VCs, angel investors or programs offered by the Launch Pad are a few potential ways to find funding.
The Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Mike Cottrell College of Business and the University of North Georgia are part of a larger entrepreneurial ecosystem and desire to support startups and entrepreneurs of all ages and experience levels. So, while we may not be able to help in every case, we likely know someone who can.
