About College of Arts & Letters

    Who We Are

With twelve academic departments plus the Department of Military Science, the college is the institution’s largest and most academically diverse, providing two-thirds of the core curriculum of the university.

Whether it’s Criminal Justice, Visual Arts, or something in between, the departments in Arts & Letters offer exciting and challenging programs for every student to experience, explore, and engage.

    Research and Overseas Opportunities

Arts & Letters promotes internationalization not only within its curriculum but also by conducting study abroad academic programs and overseas opportunities in Eastern and Western Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.

Additionally, Arts & Letters faculty have been at the forefront of engaging students in research opportunities from the very first semester they set foot on one of our five campuses.

    Be Challenged

Students will find something to challenge and engage them in the academic programs in Arts & Letters, whether they choose a major in one of the college’s many academic programs, or whether they pursue a degree in one of the university’s other colleges.

    We're Here for You

Our faculty and staff are committed to providing excellent academic programs and responsive service.
