    Spain

Valencia, Spain: Located right on the Mediterranean Sea, Valencia is Spain’s third largest city. Valencia is everything you could hope to experience in Spain: lively, vibrant, and beautiful with world renowned festivals such as the internationally recognized festival that occurs in March: Las Falles. As a larger metropolitan area, most of the residents speak English well, so no Spanish skills are necessary for participation.

During the student’s time in Spain they will immerse themselves in this amazing culture and way of life while completing the student’s senior teaching internship at the American School of Valencia, living with other college students in an apartment-style hotel, gaining valuable international experience over an extended period of time, and enjoying independent travel and group activities on the weekends.
