Fitness Memberships - Gainesville
Who can join and what does it cost?
Laker Society memberships and privileges are extended to individuals and their families who become members through their contributions:
- Family memberships - $300
- Individual memberships - $250
Membership is effective for one calendar year from the date of contribution and is NON-REFUNDABLE.
The value of your Laker Society membership exceeds $250.00; therefore, according to IRS regulations, your contribution is not tax deductible.
Where and how can I use my card?
Your membership card will identify you not only at the Gym, but at the Library, Student Center, or any other College facility.
Please present your membership card and check in with personnel in lobby each time you use the Physical Education/Fitness Center facility. Your Laker Society Membership card must be shown for admittance for you and your immediate family (spouse, and dependent children under the age of 18).
Members may not loan their membership cards for others to use.
Laker Society members are expected to abide by the procedures, campus parking regulations, and other posted guidelines while using the facilities of the institution.
For safety and liability reasons:
- Use of the Physical Education/Fitness Center facility is restricted to scheduled times.
- Scheduled classes have first priority
- Monthly scheduled posted in lobby
- Fitness Center Schedule
- Persons under 16 years of age must be accompanied and supervised at all times by their parent.
- No one under the age of 16 will be allowed in the fitness center (workout room) at any time.
Join the Laker Society!
Checks should be made payable to the University of North Georgia for Laker Society Membership. To enroll in the Laker Society, bring payment to the Continuing Education Office located in the CE/PA Building. As part of the enrollment process both adults on the membership are required to sign a Waiver Statement of Liability form to activate the membership.
