UNG’s Department of Counseling provides the next generation of counselors with the most comprehensive and current knowledge in the field. Students are exposed to practical experiences in counseling settings both in the classroom and through practicum placements and internships. These opportunities instill future counselors with a well-rounded awareness and commitment to excellence that is necessary to serve the diverse populations of the north Georgia region and beyond.
