College Survival Session: What Every Nighthawk Needs to Know

An interactive, game-based event designed to help students start the semester with confidence. Students will participate in a Kahoot-style college survival trivia game covering time management, study strategies, campus resources, academic coaching, and college success tips. All attendees get a small attendance prize, and participants will also have the chance to win a larger “College Survival Kit” filled with notebooks, pens, sticky notes, highlighters, and other school supplies to help them begin the semester prepared.

Pollinator Palooza: Tracking Biodiversity for The Great Southeast Pollinator Census in Oconee’s Garden

Come and be part of The Great Southeast Pollinator Census in the Oconee Campus Pollinator Garden: protecting the Southeast's pollinators one count at a time!  We will be counting pollinators (butterflies, bees, beetles, and more!) as part of a citizen science project happening simultaneously in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, and Mississippi.  No special knowledge of pollinators or gardening is required!
