Overview
Dr. Barnes-Foster is a professor of physical therapy and has been in academic physical therapy since 2006. She served as program chair and tenured professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center prior to joining the University of North Georgia full time in 2022. Prior to entering academia, she practiced physical therapy clinically for 22 years across various healthcare environments. She has a desire to positively impact future physical therapy practitioners across all aspects of excellence in care and professionalism.
