2021 Summer Commencement

It is my honor as president of the University of North Georgia to welcome you to the summer 2021 commencement ceremony.

Our students were excited to participate in a traditional commencement. Family and friends were there to celebrate this milestone in person.

This is a day of celebration for our graduates and also for our university.

Of course, the challenges facing our country and our world are not standing still waiting for us to prepare to solve them. Your generation will have to provide the leadership at a difficult juncture in our world's history.

Do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States. So help me God.

I extend warm and sincere congratulations to each of these fine scholars and to their families and friends who are with us today.
