Dining Services - Dahlonega

Welcome to Dahlonega Dining, where great food and convenience meet. In this video, we'll give you an idea of what is offered to you as a student at the University of North Georgia.

Let's start with meal plans at the Dining Hall. Residential students can choose from five options: All Access Plus, All Access, Social Lite, Master Mix, and Master Mix Basic. All Access Plus provides unlimited meals in the dining hall PLUS comes with an extra perk of a meal exchange swipe per day to use at dining retail locations. All Access provides unlimited meals in the Dining Hall. Social Lite provides 15 meals per week and Master Mix provides 10 meals per week. Residential meal plans come with Dining Dollars to use at dining retail locations. For those that desire a minimal plan with access to the dining hall, we have our Master Mix Basic, with 10 meals per week and no dining dollars.

Commuter students can choose from block meal plans ranging from 100 swipes per semester to 20 swipes per semester.

Next up is Chow Dining Hall, located in the heart of campus. It's an all-you-care-to-eat dining option with a variety of stations!

With a swipe of your Nighthawks Card, you can enter and enjoy freshly made, culinary created dishes no matter your dietary needs or preferences, which can be addressed with the help of our Registered Dietitian who is available virtually by appointment.

Health Services

Take advantage of Student Health Services on campus. Most students already pay the health fee with tuition, and no insurance is required to access student health.

Visits include an evaluation by a medical provider, in-house lab testing and medications. Plus, you can receive complimentary over-the-counter items like allergy medications and lip balm without seeing a nurse or provider. We offer men’s and women’s health care, including birth control consultations, STI testing and treatment.

Check out our website for more information about services, forms, after hours help, and logging into our patient portal.

Parking & Transportation

We know parking can be a hassle, so we're here to make it easy for you. Virtual permit activation opens annually on August 15th. So make sure to link your vehicle and activate your virtual permit. A virtual parking permit is required to park on campus. At UNG, a front facing license plate is required if you choose to back-in or pull thru a straight parking space. This is for our License Plate Reader Car which patrols and scans the parking lots to ensure that only authorized vehicles are parked on campus.

It's important to know your parking spaces, so here's the scoop. White-lined spaces are for students, while F/S and gold-lined spaces are reserved for faculty and staff. Be sure to read the parking rules and regulations before you arrive to campus, knowing the do’s and don’ts will help you avoid any parking citations.

If you want to save some time, take advantage of our shuttle services! Park at the shuttle lot and ride to campus. Download the Passio Go app to track shuttle routes and stops in real-time. For some stops on campus, you can even use the Request N Go feature to alert the driver when you’ve arrived at your stop. Have a suggestion for shuttle services? Let us know! Use the BusBuzz number posted in the shuttle to text us your feedback.
