Research/Special Interests

  • Dr. Whiting and her students are currently investigating:
    • The polypeptide growth factor-mediated control of oviducal proliferation and differentiation in reptiles.
    • The effects of e-cigarette exposure on the histological structure of various murine tissues as well as the immunolocalization and quantification of inflammatory mediators.
    • The impact of concept mapping on student learning in biology and medicine.
