Biology Minor

A minor in biology is a great option for students who want to supplement their major with a touch of the life sciences. A biology minor might be appropriate for students who are majoring in another field but plan to attend a graduate program in healthcare such as physical therapy or pharmacy. It could also be a good choice for students with interdisciplinary career interests, for example, medical illustration or using computer models to study cancer growth.

In addition to the two foundational courses in biology, Principles of Biology I and II, students are able to tailor the minor by choosing nine hours of upper level courses that meet their specific needs.
