Ms. West is interested in the human impact on the natural environment, primarily in the Appalachian region. She is also very involved in engaging undergraduates in authentic learning experiences that also benefit the larger community.

Ms. West enjoys any chance to get outside – hiking, camping, climbing, kayaking, and gardening are some of the highlights.
