    Building Ethical Employability (BEE-1)

The truist Center for Ethical Leadership conducts the Building Ethical Employability (BEE-1) high school program in ethics education which invites over 1,350 high school students from the north Georgia region each year to the UNG campuses for a half-day program focused on facilitating discussions on ethics and personal branding, providing an understanding of an ethical decision-making process, and increasing student awareness of the importance of ethical behavior throughout life.

This program aligns with the new Georgiabest curriculum and each session addresses at least one of the 15 personal characteristics that the curriculum focuses on improving in students such as attitude, respect, flexibility, organization, etc.

The BEE-1 program consists of three foundational courses:

    1. The Importance of Ethics, Employability Skills, and Everything In-between
    2. Defining Your Personal Core Values
    3. Real-Life Employability Skills
