What can you do with a career in chemistry?
Students graduating from UNG with a B.S. with a major in chemistry go on to pursue careers in chemical industry; work for local, state, or federal agencies; or pursue advanced degrees from professional or graduate schools. For example, recent chemistry graduates have obtained jobs with Johnson & Johnson, Aeon Global Health, Ciba Vision, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Centers for Disease Control. In addition, other recent UNG chemistry graduates have gone on to pharmacy school at the University of Georgia and graduate schools in chemistry such as the Georgia Institute of Technology, Vanderbilt University, the University of Georgia, the University of Florida, and the University of Tennessee.
