    Fitness Memberships - Dahlonega

    On our UNG Dahlonega campus, community members can use the recreation center and pool with a paid membership. Let's get physical! See you at the fitness area!

    Membership gives you access to:

    Eligibility

    Membership and privileges are extended to alumni and community members who have paid the fee and signed the appropriate waiver.

    • Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

    Cost

    Type of Membership Per Semester Duration
    Individual (non-alumni) $180 First day of credit classes through last day of final exams
    Individual (alumni who is current on alumni dues) $125 First day of credit classes through last day of final exams.

    How Do I Become a Member?

    Registering

    Alumni and community members must register through the Professional & Continuing Education office in person or by phone.

    Waiver

    All members must fill out and submit a waiver to the Professional & Continuing Education office before entrance into the recreation center or pool will be granted. Waivers expire every 12 months.

    How Do I Get My Membership Card?

    Once the waiver is submitted, first time members need to visit UNG Card Services to obtain a swipe card for entrance into the Recreation Area. There is a one-time fee of $10.00 payable to UNG Card Services.

    Parking Pass

    Your parking pass will be mailed to you within three (3) business days after registration and must be displayed in your front window at all times while parking on campus during your visit to the recreation center or pool. Visitors must park in the allotted visitors parking spaces.

    Policies

    1. Interested parties must register to use the recreation center and pool at the Professional & Continuing Education office. 
    2. The fee is not transferable and non-refundable.
    3. Fee payment entitles one to use the recreation center, pool, and locker room facilities only.  Individuals may not maintain a locker throughout the time of use.
    4. Everyone entering the recreation center or pool must now have a Nighthawks Card from UNG Card Services. An additional one-time $10.00 fee is due at the time the ID is being made. The replacement fee for a lost card will be $25.00.
    5. Age requirements:
      • Recreation Center: Participants must be age 16 or older to access the recreation center. Dependents under age 18 must be supervised by parent/guardian member at all times.
      • Pool:  Dependents (under age 18) of Recreation Center members may utilize the pool as long as:
        • they are also registered members (paying the full regular community pool member rate)
        • they are accompanied and supervised by the registered parent/guardian member at all times.
        • a waiver for the child signed by parent/guardian member is on file with Professional & Continuing Education.    

    Relatives and guests of members are not allowed to wait in Memorial Hall or the recreation center.
