    Chemistry Minor

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offers a chemistry minor for those students majoring in academic areas outside of chemistry, but still needing or wanting to take a significant number of chemistry courses.  The chemistry minor curriculum focuses on foundational courses in chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and four hours of upper division chemistry electives.  The chemistry minor is pursued by many STEM students (other than chemistry majors), especially those pursuing careers in the health sciences and those wanting to attend graduate school.
