    Mobile App Development Minor

The internet continues to be a breeding ground of opportunities for college graduates. As devices ranging from phones to refrigerators have become web-enabled, so have the needs of businesses to utilize mobile technologies to execute strategies. Referred to as “the internet of things,” current technologies are exceeding the abilities of some organizations to keep up.

A minor in mobile app development provides students the experiences and knowledge with technologies, tools, frameworks and programming languages that are necessary to develop mobile applications for devices and other applications. Students are required to take courses in computer science, web programming and mobile application development as well as select two other courses including an elective.
