      All undergraduate students in the Mike Cottrell College of Business participate in the Professional Roadmap to Ongoing Success (PROS) program as a requirement for graduation. This program provides a foundation of professionalism and interpersonal skills to help students succeed after graduation.

      The Mike Cottrell College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Founded in 1916, AACSB International is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in business and accounting. AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education and has been earned by less than 5% of the world’s business programs.

      The Mike Cottrell College of Business’ computer science bachelor's degree program is accredited by ABET. ABET is a nonprofit, nongovernmental agency that accredits programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology. About 4,144 programs at 812 colleges and universities in 32 countries have received ABET accreditation.

    • Study Abroad

      The Mike Cottrell College of Business offers a variety of study abroad opportunities through UNG’s Center for Global Engagement including the London Experience and Business & Culture in Italy trips annually.

    • Internships

      Experiential learning through internship opportunities allow our students to apply and expand their academic learning in a real-world work experience. The internship program enables students to enter the business marketplace with real-world experience, ready to add immediate value to an organization.
