Jane Morris
Overview
Dr. Jane Morris is an Assistant Professor in the Health Administration department. She is a registered nurse with experience in emergency services, surgical services, occupational health, nursing education, and clinical informatics. She has extensive experience in clinical informatics primarily focused in the hospital setting as a clinical analyst and trainer. Dr. Morris holds an Associate of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgia Southwestern State University. She has a Master of Science in Nursing from Excelsior University and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Georgia State University. Dr. Morris is ANCC certified as an Informatics Nurse and has mentored numerous students pursuing advanced degrees in informatics. “I am excited to be a part of such a dynamic program at UNG and I look forward to working with students to prepare them to enter one of the fastest growing fields in healthcare”.

Dr. Morris is married and has three children. She lives in southwest Georgia and enjoys walking, fishing, watching sports and spending time with her family.
