You are joining hundreds of other students that are working alongside our faculty and staff to keep UNG running smoothly. And as a student you bring a different perspective to the table, giving us insight to those very people we are here to serve.
How To Get Paid Checklist
Step 1. Officially Accept Job Offer in Careers
- Visit the USG Careers Hub to access the offer on your account using your Username and Password.
- View your notifications and select the 'Job Offer' link.
- Review the offer details and follow the instructions to accept or reject the job offer.
Step 2. Background Investigation
- If applicable, you will receive an email from Accurate, customer_service@accurate.com, to the email address provided on your application. If you are unable to locate the request in your email, check your spam folder. Please note, not all student positions require a background check.
- Complete and submit the background investigation request.
Step 3. New Hire Processing
- If applicable, you will receive an email from donotreply@equifax.com with the subject line “Your UNG New Hire Documents are Ready”
Please note, if you are a current active student employee you will not receive this email and you can skip to step 5. - Select the link to complete the New Hire Packet.
Step 4. Attend your I-9 appointment at the Office of Human Resources
- You will receive an email from a UNG Human Resources member with the subject line "Appointment with HR." This email will include an appointment date and time with Human Resources to bring the required I-9 documentation.
Step 5. Congratulations on your new position!
- Confirm work schedule with your supervisor.
Please Note: you cannot begin working before the start date provided in your offer letter. If applicable, HR must receive a completed background check before your start date. - You will receive an email from Human Resources with the instructions to access your new timecard and record time.
