Visitors and Community Borrowers Policy
Any resident over the age of 16, with a current and valid government issued picture ID from one of the counties listed below, may request a Community Patron Card. Any student, faculty, or staff member from Brenau University, Lanier Technical College, or Piedmont College with an institution issued picture ID that is current and valid may request a Community Patron Card.
Community Card holders are eligible to checkout up to three circulating books for 28 days (no renewals) at the location they are visiting. Media, technology, equipment, and reserve materials are not available for checkout.
Anyone who wishes to use University of North Georgia computers, and who is not a UNG student or faculty/staff member, must be issued a temporary guest account at the library. Guests must provide a government issued photo ID with date of birth and write their name and local address legibly.
Guests Under 18
- Guests under age 18 must have a release form signed by their parent/guardian.
- Guests aged 15 or under must share the guest account of their parent/guardian.

Printing and Restrictions
Guests have no printing privileges and are required to abide by UNG Appropriate Use Policy. Guest accounts may be restricted from accessing certain computers in the libraries. Violators will lose all rights to use computers.
Students have priority for computer use.
