    Research Consultations

    What is a Research Consultation?

A research consultation is a one-on-one or small group appointment with a librarian for in-depth research assistance. We will do our best to match you with a librarian who has some expertise in the subject area of your research and arrange a time to teach you how to search for and identify quality information for your papers and projects.

    Who Can Use This Service?

This service is only available to UNG students, faculty, and staff.

    Requesting a Consultation

Research Consultations are available Mon. - Thurs. 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Fri. 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. We request at least 48 business hours' notice (not including weekends) for all appointments. The earlier you submit your request, and the more days and times you are available to meet, the more likely we will be able to schedule a research consultation for you. Thank you for your flexibility and cooperation.

    Research Assistance for Entire Classes

Instructors: We cannot accommodate entire classes signing up for individual research consultation appointments. If your class as a whole needs assistance, please arrange for a library instruction session.
