    Digital Signage

Digital Signage and myUNG slides are primarily used by the Office Marketing and Communications to promote UNG’s brand, increase engagement with target audiences, serve our university’s colleagues and their strategic and marketing goals that align with the Strategic Plan.

Any Official UNG department or university-recognized student organization may request information to be published on the campus monitor slides or as a slide in myUNG.

    Requirements, Guidelines, & Resources

    • Requests must align with a Strategic Plan Priority and adhere to institutional policies.
      • This will enable us to better understand the relevance and importance of your request within our broader institutional objectives
    • Requests are accepted only from faculty or staff.
      • Slides for student organization require the faculty advisor to submit requests on a student organization’s behalf.
    • We generally recommend a two-three week lead time on signage for signage because sometimes there’s a delay in processing.
      • Maximum runtime for a slide is two (2) weeks. This is both to give more folks the chance to have their signage seen, and to avoid losing the audience for the ad after seeing it for some time.
    • Due to the volume of activities requiring publicity, University Relations generally limits requests to two signs per organization or department at any one time.
    • Slides regarding fundraising must have formal documentation of approval from:
      • Student Involvement for student organizations
      • Business & Finance for official UNG units such as but not limited to; offices, departments, colleges, institutes, center…
    • Digital signs will be removed after the event has concluded.
    • Due to the volume of activities requiring publicity, University Relations generally limits requests to two signs per organization or department at any one time.
    • Third party representation is not allowed unless there has been direct approval from executive leadership in cooperation with University Relations
    • University Relations reserves the right to deny requests that may not be appropriate.
      • For further questions regarding a request, contact digitalsignage@ung.edu
