Overview
Gregg Velatini has been with the University of North Georgia for 15+ years. Prior to academia he was a specialist in electromagnetics and radio frequency circuit design who designed circuits for Scientific Atlanta (known as Cisco now) and Broadcom Corporation for 14 years. Since leaving the industry one such project he has taken up is researching and implementing the incorporation of Singapore Mathematics Curriculum into all of Hall County’s Elementary schools. In his spare time, Gregg enjoys woodworking among many hobbies. During the summer of 2018 he assisted in an undergraduate research project that required the design and building of car-sized trebuchets that were capable of launching objects 200+ feet. Additionally, you may find yourself hearing a guitar as you pass through the mathematics department hallways as he can often be found playing one.
