Increase Your Cultural Awareness Video Transcript

    Hello fellow Nighthawks.

My name is Dr. Robert L. Robinson. And I'm the Director for the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs.

During these trying times, MSA wants you to know that there are still ways to connect and grow your cultural awareness.

Take the time to learn a foreign language. Expand your palate and learn how to cook a cultural dish. Read a book or watch a documentary on a culture other than your own. Join a cultural based club.

At MSA we have the pleasure of working with these amazing clubs: Asian Student Association, Black Student Union, The Gender Sexuality Alliance, The Latin American Student Association, Latino Student Association, and the Spectrum Alliance.

They all would love to hear from you. And please consider joining!

And of course MSA is still producing diversity programming and activities.

So please follow us on our social media account and through UNG Connect for information on our upcoming programs.

If we can learn anything from these trying times, it's to never take for granted the beauty of connecting with others.
