Kyle Murphy, MPH

Kyle Murphy
Title: Coordinator for Multicultural Student Affairs and Latino Success
(He, Him, His)

Office: Gainesville

Kyle Murphy was raised in Cumming, Georgia as the oldest of two children. He attended the University of North Georgia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science with a major in general studies with concentrations in Spanish, psychology, and physical education. Kyle then went on to obtain a master's degree in public health from the University of Georgia.

Before joining UNG, Kyle worked as a Bilingual Enrollment Specialist for a local non-profit whose mission centers on providing one-on-one mentoring to youth in the Metro Atlanta area. Kyle has worked for UNG previously as the Interim Coordinator for Multicultural Student Affairs and Latino Success in 2017.

During his time as a UNG student, Kyle was involved in multiple student organizations, including Latino Student Association (LASO), Asian Student Association (ASA), Interfaith Alliance, and Rotaract Club. Kyle served as the President of LASO and held multiple officer positions within Rotaract Club.

Kyle credits his experiences with the MSA office while he was a student for helping him grow both professionally and personally. The skills that he learned helped to ease his adjustment from being a college student to being in the working world. He is passionate about working with students to help them develop these same skills and go on to be successful in their personal and professional lives.
