    Article By: Staff

Nick Kastner, marketing manager and adjunct instructor for the Mike Cottrell College of Business at the University of North Georgia (UNG), was selected to present at the Dahlonega Literary Festival, March 25 and 26 in historic downtown Dahlonega, Georgia.

He will speak on using social media and other digital marketing channels to drive readership and sales to authors.  He will also discuss reviews, developing communities using social media, using search to drive sales, and the importance of branding on the web.

Prior to joining UNG in 2013, Kastner served as an account director at Red Clay Interactive, a web design and marketing company based just outside of Atlanta. He has worked with a number of high-profile clients and has substantial experience in the financial industry.

Kastner received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Piedmont College in 2003 and his master's degree in managerial leadership from Piedmont College in 2006. In addition to his formal education, Kastner specializes in agile marketing and is both a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), an agile project management framework, initially formalized for software development, and Certified Agile Marketing Specialist (CAMS).
