Nick Roth, a senior business management major at the University of North Georgia (UNG), was awarded the Rising Entrepreneur Award by the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce for its Excellence in Business awards ceremony in the University Student category.

In 2015, Roth founded Teach All Tech Inc., a technology-learning services company that focuses on personal lessons to educate and serve individuals' needs. He started this business as a way to meet the needs of older generations who are not as educated on technology.

Roth said many of his UNG classes that focused on economics and accounting helped him, especially Entrepreneurial Mindset and Process, which showed him the best ways to start and grow a grassroots business with the lowest amount of risk.

On advising others about starting their own business, Roth suggests taking some risks to get the ideas off the ground.

"At the end of the day all that matters is doing it. Your market will never be right, your product will never be perfect, and you will always find reasons to wait. If every company you know waited for the perfect moment to launch they would still just be an idea. The successful companies realized that moment never comes - you have to create it."
