University of North Georgia (UNG) Director of Academic Engagement Dr. Drew Pearl is one of the 40 participants named to the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Hall County (LHC) Class of 2017-18.

Participants in the LHC develop knowledge of the community through a series of sessions covering arts, education, health and social services, city and state governments, judicial, and economic development.

"I am excited to be a part of the Leadership Hall County class of 2017-2018 and I look forward to learning more about the Gainesville and Hall County communities, developing my personal leadership skills, and working with an esteemed cohort of community leaders," Pearl said. "I plan to use this experience as an opportunity to build on an already strong relationship between UNG and our community."

Class members are nominated by former participants and selected by the LHC Selection Committee.
